Description
A three image panorama of our beautiful Sydney Harbour taken from the walkway across the Harbour Bridge. Angles of images taken from the Harbour Bridge walkway are a little limited due to the side construction of the bridge and the tall safety fence.
In the foreground, you will see the shadow on the water of the northern pylon of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and part of the arch construction.
On the left of the image is the suburb of Kirribilli showing many highly priced home units right on the waterfront. At the back right of the image is the Sydney Opera House and Circular Quay just a little further to the right.
There is always some form of traffic on the water in Sydney Harbour, from small yachts to ferries, tankers, ships and speed boats.
Just left of the center of the image, if you have good eyes! (under the red tanker or ship) is Fort Denison. Fort Denison is a former penal site and defensive facility occupying a small island located north-east of the Royal Botanic Gardens and about one kilometre east of the Opera House in Sydney Harbour, New South Wales, Australia. The island is also known as Pinchgut Island.
